Real Estate Solutions was appointed as Construction Managers to design and manage the security upgrade works for the Ministry of Oil and Kuwait Petroleum Corporation project – Oil Complex.
The Oil Complex, Kuwait comprises the headquarters of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation ‘KPC’ and Ministry of Energy ‘MoE’ (Oil) spread over approximately 57,000m² site area with gross Internal Building Area of 94,000m².
The complex features two high-rise towers; each composed of a lens building at the front and a triangular building at the back. Both towers are connected with a bridge and an observation lobby at each floor connected to a central lifts core. KPC and MoE Lens Towers are 100 metres and 80 metres high from basement level with 19 and 14 office floors respectively. The basement is 10 metres high. Central lifts core is elliptical in shape and its Apex 115 meters high from the basement level.
Tunnel Project
RES was construction manager for the KPC tunnel project. The execution of the project was initiated and completed on time and within budget. The tunnel was meant to serve as a connecting bridge between the existing KPC towers and the parking lot for the staff to manoeuvre.
Smoking Rooms
RES designed specially designated smoking room areas for KPC staff. The project was executed and complketed on time and within estimated budget.

The building security system comprises a fully networked access and alarm monitoring system (CAAMS), closed circuit television (CCTV) with internal and external cameras, guard watch tour system and parking control system comprising gate barriers and card readers, etc.
